It runs on your device
The demo is worked out by your own browser. Whatever you type, tap or load stays there.
Nothing leaves your device
No cookies and no tracking. While this tab is open your browser holds on to your design, so a reload does not lose it. Close the tab, or press “Clear the demo”, and it is gone. A spreadsheet you try is never kept.
No details asked for
To try it you give us nothing: no name, no email, no sign-up. Every example in it is made up.
You send it, not us
Start a free month and the message is written in front of you, then sent from your own email.
Check it yourself
- Switch off your Wi-Fi, or put your phone in flight mode, once this page has loaded. The demo carries on working, because it never needed us.
- Press “Clear the demo”, or close the tab. Everything you did is gone: it was only ever held in that tab, on your device.
- Know someone technical? Ask them to watch the browser’s Network panel while you use the demo, and to read this page’s Content Security Policy. It tells your browser to block this page from sending data anywhere.
One thing no website can avoid: the company that hosts this site keeps a routine log that a page was opened. Our privacy page says what that covers.

Good things to ask.
Is the demo really private?
Yes. It runs inside your own browser. Nothing you type, tap or load is uploaded, stored or seen by us, there are no cookies and no tracking, and it is all gone when you close the tab. Here is how to check.
What happens when I start my free month?
You tell us your business name and your name, and your own email app opens with those and your design written out, so you can read every word before you send it. We set your app up from that and reply with how to open it. We do not ask for card details to start.
And when the month is up?
You choose: keep your app for a small monthly price, add PRO for a little more, or walk away. Nothing is charged until you choose; then it renews by itself each month, and you can stop any time. If you walk away, your app is read-only for a month so you can take a copy of your records, and then everything in it is deleted.
What is the difference between my app and PRO?
Your app is the whole thing: your trade’s app, the accounts, a login for everyone, daily backups on our UK server and your free website. Improvements we make for everyone reach you too, and you can tell us about a problem any time. The PRO adds a person working on your app: up to 4 small changes a month made just for you, one at a time, and messages answered within 1 working day. Two people in your business can contact us: the owner and one deputy they choose. Small means about an hour’s work or less, such as a new detail to record, a new stage or a new list. Anything bigger, we price first and you decide.
Are the accounts really included?
Yes, in every app. Quotes, invoices, payments and expenses are built in, so the paperwork follows the job. An export area gives your accountant an Excel pack whenever they want one, with invoice files laid out for Xero and QuickBooks. It does not send returns to HMRC itself: your accountant or your accounting software does that.
I do not have a website. Can you help?
Yes. Every app comes with a free one-page website for your business, in your app’s colours, with your phone number, email and what you do. You write the words in your app and can change them whenever you like. People can ask for a quote on it and the enquiry arrives in your app as a new job. You can preview it during your free month; it goes live at its own address when you choose a plan, and stays free for as long as you keep your app. If you would like a bigger website, we design those too and quote before any work starts.
Can I phone you?
One of the ways we keep the costs low is by offering a chat request service only. Tell us about a problem from inside your app at any time, and PRO customers can message us and ask for changes there too. A real person replies in writing, so nothing is lost or misheard, and you have it to look back on.
My trade is not on the list. Can I still have one?
Yes. Choose Custom, pick what you keep track of, and add your own details and stages. If you need something a ready-made app cannot do, tell us and we will quote before any work starts.
I already keep everything in a spreadsheet. Can I use that?
Yes. Drop it into the demo and it becomes an app in seconds, read on your own device. You will also see what we spotted in it, such as dates typed three different ways.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The app opens in the web browser on any phone, tablet or computer, and can be added to the home screen so it behaves like any other app.
Can I get my records out again?
Always. They are yours, and you can take a copy out to Excel whenever you like.
